  1. I'm using basically all seachem ferts without seachem advance. I'm doing about 30%water change every week.
  2. Chihros wrgb pro2. Yes on co2 Light turns on at 2, turns off at 9. Has a 30 minute start up and 30 minutes dim at the end
  3. Cycle tank 6 months old. I'm using rodi water remineralized Strong light No ammonia. 0-5ppm nitrates TDS 227 pH 6.8 GH 78ppm Kh 65ppm I'm having green dust algae problems. Can't figure out how to get rid of it. I'm using seachem fert.
  4. I just ordered two Bolivian brands from aqua huna. I don't know if one is male and one is female. But if I have two males, is it possible for them to coexist? Or if they are two females, can they coexist?
  5. Just got this 60 gallon cube tank. I was wondering if it's a good idea to remove the top rim. I want to have driftwood protruding out the tank so having a rim will not look good. The rim is mitered. The guy I bought t this off of said there was identical one like this from the same maker that was rimless.
  6. I'm thinking it was poor filtration that made my guppies sick..
  7. I have a fluval 9 flex and I noticed the filter reservoir was not filling to the top. I have the heater where the pump is and when the water level is not at the top the heater will turn off. I didn't think of that until after the fact. The heater was turned off for a couple days. I noticed my guppies were swimming lethargic. I checked the heater. I turned it back on. I did a water check. Everything was good. I did a partial water change. Most of my guppies look fine except for the two males and one female. One male just passed away and the other looks like it has something white on it or it's a gash. The female is slowly coming around. Can a heater not on for a couple days affect my fish in such a way?
  8. I'm thinking about guppies and some bottom feeders.
  9. This all great advice. Thank you! I just don't understand that my tap water is hard (SD county 8 ph) but when I test it in my tank after a week ph low.
  10. Hello all! Need help. I just started my tank I put live plants, dragon rock, and Driftwood in a 9 gallon fluval flex. I'm doing test and my ph is about 6.6-6.8 my kh is little too none and my gh is high. I live in San Diego and the water here is hard. I was thinking about putting crush coral in my filter media but I'm worried that it will raise gh. What should I do.
