  1. What are your water parameters ammonia nitrite nitrate pH KH GH temperature what are you feeding and how often @CarolineT
  2. I would follow up with a second course of maracyn2 as he's shown some improvement have you tried using some tweezers try to target feed him
  3. You could do every other day if your fish is finding it very stressful cut the time in the epsom salt bath to 10 minutes
  4. It could be as you starting to see nitrate that a good thing monitor daily to see if you get any nitrite keep up with water changes if your still seeing ammonia what level is ammonia getting to before your doing a water change
  5. It's more effective in food when treating epistylis you want maracyn2 I would dose the tank if he's not eating and keeping treating with super ick cure
  6. I would expect to see nitrite if you still seeing ammonia then nitrate is this the first time you have registered nitrates in this tank
  7. What exactly are your ammonia nitire nitrate pH and temperature any rapid breathing hanging out near the surface lethargy white stringy poop is he eating ok
  8. It can take a couple of weeks to cycle a tank As your seeing no nitrate low nitrite your tanks hasn't cycled yet the way I cycle my tanks is by adding a small amount of fish food daily you will see ammonia then nitrite once you start to see zero nitrite you will see a gradually raise in nitrates then when your seeing zero ammonia and nitrites then you can add the first fish or you can use Dr Tim's ammonia dose the tank till it fully cycled before adding fish doing a fish in cycle is stressful to fish and your more likely to lose fish or have outbreaks of disease if the spots are raised you could be dealing epistylis that feeds off of gram negative bacteria on the slime coat of your fish and spreads more quickly at higher temperatures what I would do is Keep treating with API super ick cure and do a course of maracyn2 in food feeding a small amount twice a day for 7 days
  9. Did you cycle the tank before adding fish what your ammonia and nitrite nitrate Are the spots raised or flat
  10. I use a 1 gallon container or jug leave for 15 minutes then I would move back to the tank if your going use maracyn2 I would quarantine and treat If you have a quarantine tank you could just add some Epsom salt 1 table spoon for 3 gallons for 5 days while treating with maracyn2 instead of doing the epsom salt baths @J. Holmes
  11. We're it's located it could be a prolapse you would want to treat with epsom salt baths 1 table spoon for 1 gallon for no more than 15 minutes for 5 days as Epsom salt acts as a muscle relaxant to help your fish reabsorb the prolapse I would fast for a couple of days or it could also be a benign growth or a tumor I would also do course of maracyn2 active ingredient minocycline also has anti-inflammatory properties just in case there's a bacterial component@J. Holmes
  12. Does it look like a prolapse or is it a lump or swelling
  13. What are your water parameters ammonia nitrite nitrate pH KH GH temperature get you get a better picture
  14. I would add a small amount of aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 5 gallons and monitor if you notice any Reddening or fuzzy appearance were the wound is then I would treat with maracyn and ick x
  15. Kanaplex can be stressful to snails so I would remove him before treating with kanaplex
  16. Fungal infections often occur were the skin has been damaged though injury bacterial or parasitic infections something else could be going on such as bacterial infections that can also cause white patches I would start with aquarium salt you could add a dose of ick X and let it marinate while treating with aquarium salt if you notice no improvement after a week or it get worse then I would follow up with a course of jungal fungus clear fizz tabs

    Bloating death

What I would do as no other fish are showing symptoms I wouldn't treat I would monitor them closely for next couple of weeks give an update if you notice any odd behaviour such as bloating rapid breathing hanging out near the surface lethargy loss of appetite @TwoFace99
  18. As your in Canada what I would do quarantine I would treat with aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 2 gallons and Indian almond leaves as they have antibacterial and antifungal properties I would add one leaf per gallon to get a beneficial effect add an extra air stone during treatment
  19. Swim bladder can be effected by high levels of nitrates fish over eating and the stomach putting pressure on the swim bladder or a bacterial infections or an injury what I would do is fast for couple of days and treat with epsom salt baths 1 table spoon for 1 gallon for no more than 15 minutes for 5 days as epsom salt acts as a muscle relaxant to help relieve pressure on the swim bladder then give an update if your seeing no improvement after 5 days @thegoldiehook
  20. What I would do is start treating aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 2 gallons and metroplex in food feeding a small amount twice a day for upto 3 weeks
  21. Am struggling to see anything in the picture how long have you had them are they eating ok have you noticed Any rapid breathing do you have any medication to hand @sillyflow
  22. What I would do is treat with kanaplex that's a broad spectrum antibiotic treatment and ick X I would add a small amount of aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 10 gallons it will aid Gill function and add essential electrolytes during treatment at that level it won't harm your plants I think it could be a bacterial infections with a secondary fungal infection add an extra air stone during treatment@Kleger86
  23. I wouldn't mess with your pH a stable pH is more important while he's being treated
  24. Could be a fungal infection picture aren't good enough quality to say for sure what I would do is quarantine and treat with aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 2 gallons for two weeks go from There if your seeing no improvement
  25. You can do epsom salt baths for longer than 5 days the reason I recommend no longer than 5 days is because it's very stressful to keep catching the fish have you seem any improvement with fasting and epsom salt baths
