I thought about trying to keep some blue gills in a empty 125 I have. I have tons in a creek that runs through my property.

I follow all the big guys everyone knows. Anyone have some suggestions for smaller channels I may not of heard of.

@Tihshho my thinking is if I use more than needed the heaters will kick on and off faster than 2 heaters would. Though I could be totally wrong and wasting money. 🤷‍♂️ I’ve always been a over do it person.

@Tihshho 75 gallon. My fish room is my gaming room also. It’s kept 68-70 so I need a bit more with heaters.

I changed All my heaters today to the Co Op heater. First impressions I absolutely love this thing. I can get rid of all my Digital thermometers on my tanks since the heater tells you the temp, it’s compact so I’ll never have to u plug them during water changes and they blend into all my black backgrounds. This thing is the best ever. I’ll check back in 6 months form now and tell you if I’m still in love. I believe I will be. You can tell they are super high quality. Like a apple product from the packaging and holding it in your hand you know you have a premium product. Also the long cord is a god send. Thanks @Cory

Update on my Hydra problem. They ended up invading multiple tanks. I bought this No Planaria stuff on Amazon, dosed it for 24 hours and the HYDRA where wiped out. Fish and all the snails where fine. I’ll include a picture of it. This stuff is amazing.

Been keeping fish for years. Never seen anything like this before. I have just started feeding brine shrimp though, are they brine shrimp that grew?

I have never seen any type of worm In the tank.

I have a 20 long cherry shrimp tank that has had a very successful colony the last 20 months. In it are Shrimp and snails. The snails I have used the e to feed my pea puffers and through entire time I have always seen lots of baby shrimp. The last month- 2 months or so I’ve noticed I haven’t seen any babies and the colony has gone from tons to maybe 15 shrimp. Plus all the snails that where in it are dwindling also with no smaller snails anymore. Parameters all seem good, nothing has changed. I never have missed a bi weekly water change and I have fed them the same the entire time. Any advice welcomed.

I have 5 Ziss Bio Filters and 2 of them which I happen to buy at the same time stopped tumbling. I tried changing the air hoses, different pumps, everything. I can see bubbles flowing inside it but it won’t tumble anymore. Is there some sort of maintenance I’m missing with these because they where the first two I bought maybe 6-7 months ago.

Using salt now and was wondering what the best meds to use for it would be. Thanks.

I was wondering if I should be keeping all my fish food and meds in my fridge. Makes sense in my mind but wanted to check.

Co Op directions are to treat for a week then 25% water change, let rest for 2 weeks then treat one more week. Now after the first and last week of treatments should I put carbon in my filter to remove the medicine completely?
