The tubes where rotting I pulled them out and they stank bad. I tried cutting bad ones away but they died. Won’t be trying those again. @Scaperoot

I’ve had tons of banana plants and my recent order from the co op 2 of them got this white fuzz on it. Kind of like biofilm except it’s a seasoned tank and now one is starting to float. Anyone experience this?

I treated him with Marcyn and salt. Two more of my congos both got it also. Quarantined them and treated same way. Today all went back into their tanks healed! I believe it was tetra mouth rot. Luckily I caught it early. All I’ve researched is it’s a death sentence if you don’t see it quick.

Nothing stuck in his mouth and he isn’t eating. His lips are swelled up. I’ve never seen anything like it though I’ve only been keeping fish for 6 years.

I think he smashed against something. He is in my Congo Tetra tank has been going for 3 years. Treat with salt? Or has someone seen this before and it’s something else. I moved him to an extra tank I keep setup for these type of things.

Funny thing was I was super worried about the Neon Tetras because everyone says they always have issues getting them shipped and they’re perfect.

I’ve order from aquahuna multiple times no issue. Last month on December 19th I ordered 28 neon tetras and 6 ottocinlus catfish. The tetra where fine but the Ottos ended up with ich. Luckily they where in a quarantine tank. I treated them but they all eventually died 36$ down the drain. My first bad experience buying fish. I messaged them to see if I could get some sort of credit for my next order and I got this. I know their policy is so many days but how can you just push aside a customer that received a fish form you that died from something that takes more than 3 days to die form especially when the ich didn’t show up well past 3 days. (update) I emailed a second time and they totally took care of me I’m not sure i got a customer service person having a bad day the first time but the second response was exactly what I thought should’ve happen props to them

My fishroom is in the upstairs of my Cape cod house. It’s heated by 1 electric oil heater which works perfect every winter every year. This year I’m in Ohio and as everyone knows insane cold temps hit. My fishroom dropped to 58 degrees, luckily all my tanks stayed with a degree or two of 78 which all me Co Op heaters are set but ran constantly. I added a second 1800 oil heater and the room would get to about 62 degrees and my aquarium heaters had to do the rest. Luckily everything is good other than the crazy electric consumption.

I got mine on eBay from a UK seller for like $20. Took 4 weeks to get to me but well worth it. These snail traps are awesome.

I have a snail tank I keep just to feed my puffers. This sera snail trap is amazing to catch a bunch once a week.

After using these heaters for a few months I have 1 thing I think could improve. The suction cups are not good. Can 2.0 get magnets holding this on?

They’re growing. I have to give them a can of Green beans twice a day now along with some extreme big fellas pellets.

If you have a lamp with like a 60 watt light bulb sitting around those work amazing to heat it. Here’s what I use.

It fits easily. I have one in my 15 flex. I have it at the bottom of the left back compartment.

Top is a black trash bag - Bottom I painted the back black.

You where right. I took out one in my 75s so there is only 2 and I put 3 in my 125 they do perfect !

Gonna need a bigger tank
