Alexa
I fused two ends of airline tubing together with a hair dryer. A heat gun is easier but I don’t have one 😣 No pictures to show but I got the idea from Foo the Flowerhorn on youtube.
Mychala
I wouldn't have thought a hair dryer got hot enough! I guess I could use a safe super glue too! Thanks!
Daniel
Thanks @Alexa, I will try that!
MickS77
I super glued the ends of the co-op airline tubing together to make a ring. Currently using it for floating plants.
Bill Smith
I did the same thing with airline tubing, but a simple airline connector did the trick for me, instead of glue: 1
ChefConfit
I did the same thing with airline tubing and a connector in my old tank to contain my floaters.
Mychala
I wanted clear rings so I just bought the cheap 8ft tubing from Walmart. I found that superglue was much more difficult to get it together than just shoving one end over the next and melting it a bit with a lighter! The coop tubing is much more pliable so it may be easier with the super glue than the stiffer Walmart tubing. Just FYI for anyone wanting to make some! Kaleb3205
I just did an airline tubing with a check-valve to connect them! No glue or heating needed! I use a airline tube holder (I think Aquarium Co Op sells these) to keep it in place.
