Your favorite Nano Tank Lights

Hi all, I figured I would update those who helped me figure out a Nano tank. I just picked up an Aqueon Frameless cube 6 gal. In light of this (get it light 🙂 ), what are your favorite lights? This is going to be a planted tank, and I am still debating between a pea puffer or shrimp.

With the 6 cube frameless, you're good to order several brands of the clip on lights.   We went cheap for ours, as long as you stick with low-light plants your options are pretty open.

I think I wanted to have pearl weed in the tank, Is that high light? @GameCzar

I like the Finnex Stingray Clip light for these frameless tanks. They only have two  light settings, tho. My easy plants are doing well. I also like the flexible arm. Looks sharp.

I have the finnex planted plus clip on light and the color from it is very attractive. It also has a gooseneck.

I do not run nano tanks so can’t give a favorite but Aqueon clip ons grow massive algae for me. I got one for a plant grow out. Had to put electrical tape over all the blue lights. It still grew algae 🤨

As much as I like my lights, nano and pico tanks can grow well in windows. You might have to create and manage shade.

@Guppysnail I have heard they are very strong. And I never knew till recently that blue light grows algae!
