FlyingFishKeeper
Hi, so I was wondering if it would be dangerous, or hurt a hillstream loach if I were to put ohko/dragon stone into an aquarium since the edges are sharp and they might try getting algae from the rock? I've seen some people saying it's fine to put kuhli loaches with ohko stone, and the two species seem share the same behaviour of scavenging around on the bottom from what I've seen on YouTube? Thanks! Edited July 10, 2021 by FlyingFishKeeper
BenA
I wouldn't put anything sharp into the tank, fish can hurt themselves.
FlyingFishKeeper
Thanks, @BenA are there any methods I could use to dull some of the edges? It’s not razor blade sharp, but still has some jagged edges. Thanks! Edited July 11, 2021 by FlyingFishKeeper
BenA
Really don't know, I avoided them. But if you want them try to see if you can smoothen the edges with a file or the black stone that is being used to sharpen knifes (forgot what it's called).
Colu
You could try using some sand paper to smooth some.of the sharp edges
Guppysnail
For that many sharp tiny crevices if somewhere local does it have it sandblast polished
