  1. To keep nitrogen cycle under control with fish that eat plants what can I use that will look good in the fish room and not harm animals? I love orchids and pathos is dangerous for animals. What kind of Vine could I grow around my stand to make the room beautiful? Help me plan my new fish room.
  2. $40 yard sale I have to build the sump so I will seal it . It will probably only have about 30gal in it .water level will be managed by the tower depth. Do you think I should plant the center with moss or something equivalent to eat the nitrates? There is so much you can do with a 48 inch sump.

  8. My concern is heat. It's not uncommon to be in the high 90,s with overnight in the 80,s . If a piston pump gets hot naturally in house how will it do if it's room is already 100 degrees? Has anyone ever tested for this? Is there research ?

  12. Stay with the low kit for now. Plan out your tank so you know what you want to do. Looking forward read about the fish you want to keep. You will find balance in time. PH of your water source is important so you have a baseline. Test kits are basic guidelines for display tanks. The deeper you go into fish type the more it will become important. Turtle 🐢
