    That’s what I was thinking but I have never had these before. I have had a 55 gallon cichlid tank setup for 4 years and never seen these. I will watch some videos to compare them. Thanks for your information.

    I recently came back from a trip and I noticed these little white worms crawling all over the glass. I bought this tank used and it came with two snails plants rocks, gravel and filter, media. I rinsed out the gravel under tap water and the rocks with plants superglue on them.I also cleaned out all the filter media under tapwater, including the tank. and wipe every service down with rubbing alcohol when it was dry. I put some cycled media from my African Cichlid tank into the back filter compartment to kickstart the cycle.I’m wondering if they are harmful or not. Any advice would be appreciated.

    They have had a egg crate divider in for a year and and half. I had to move them out of it because my old 55 was leaking and had to put one in a 10 and one on a 27 gal tote for like a Week until I bought a new tank. like 3 months ago but they have been in a divided 55 for like a year and a half besides that move. Also it didn’t seem to holding the eggs. Has been eating every day and looks normal.

    I wouldn’t be mad about if their were fry I have only 2 in my 55 with a divider because fully grown yellow labs run $30 each and I don’t want to get rid of these 2 adults because I had them for 3 years and I’ve became attached to them but If I find small ones I’ll definitely buy them.

    I just don’t know how it’s possible I have a divider in the tank for a while and I separated them because they were about to kill each other

    I was recently feeding one of my yellow labs and I noticed when it got scared from me moving it darted and dropped what looks like eggs. It looks like gravel but it’s not and sunk kinda slowly any ideas? I don’t think it’s eggs because I currently have I amuse him separated because of aggression with a barrier in the tank.

    Kathy F yeah that’s the one downside to this tank but as long as you put in corse sponge it shouldn’t standout in my opinion. But I don’t own this tank so I can’t be saying much

    Yes I was really surprised that they advertised this as a shrimp tank and not a betta tank!

    This Petsmart tank includes everything filter with media and pre filter sponges, lid, light, gravel, background and a way to apply it and a net. I highly recommend getting this at your local petsmart for $40 on sale right now but in stores only! It’s a great deal I would get it if I had the space. The price is different online then in stores. The perfect shrimp tank on a budget!     I would send a better picture but it has been staying in a cave the whole time dose not seem to have anything in her mouth tho. You sure it’s a female? I just fed them and that orange one is a male because I saw black at the underneath fins

    Also I could flip that one over to make sure it’s a female. I did that with the brighter yellow one in the picture. I also have a common pleco in that tank will it bother the cichlids? All I know is I’m gonna keep him in there because I don’t wanna setup another tank just for a pleco

    I have never bred cichlids before. I’ve had these two for 2 years but I had a divider in the tank because I thought they were both males and just fighting. They are chasing each other around the tank quite a bit ever since I removed the divider about a week ago. The one on the bottom of the picture is very aggressive to the other. I also could post a better image of the more orange yellow lab because it’s not really the best. But tomorrow because my light just turned off 🙂

    I’m wondering if the yellow lab that looks more orange or the one on top in the picture is male or female. Also the one in the top of the picture has a bump where it’s Anus is. And I’m wondering if that’s normal.

    I have this 55 stand that got water damaged on the right side of the picture. A 55 is kinda like two 20 gallon stands put together. So I’m wondering if I could take off the water damaged side and use the other side for a 20 gallon stand? Is it possible?

    I have some fluval stratum that I used for a tank. And after that I put it in a bag and I did not throw it away and it was in a gallon size bag for 3 months. Do you think I can dry it out and store it dry? Or is it to late and i have to throw it away. #fluval stratum
