I only found about easy green root tabs after buying these on amazon . reading reviews I think it may dissolve by itself after a day or two time will tell , kind of scary will not use again

Help .. any experience with these? I added 4 of these to my 7.5 gallon tab and the water got very cloudy even thou I put then deep in the substrate , Then I read other reviews and saw that it is a common thing that the water get cloudy and a lot of angry reviews but no one said how to fix and if it will be fixed ? anyone try those? did I ruin my water ?

what fish would that be that can live in 7.5 gallon ?

I got the API kit all the colors showed zero , I thought it was strange too but then why would I have ammonia or nitrate if I don't have fish in ? I though maybe it will be in NYC water ? but nothing it was all 0 I will try the test again but I followed the instructions very closely and not sure what could I have done wrong

sadly I did no keep the rock wool, the plants are in the substrate , I see some growth but also I see some dead leaves on the bottom . will easy green help that ? do I need both easy green and tubes for such small aquarium ?

Hi all , I am new to the hobby so excuse me if I am asking silly questions, we have a small tank 7.5 gallon for a week now with three kind of live plants: Crypt lutea, Green hygrophila and Narrow leaf chain sword. on the first day I de-chloritized the water and added starters bacteria last night did a first water test and found out that well... basically we have water 🙂 P.H 7.0 ammonia 0 nitrate 0 nitrite 0 I added some easy green after for the first time , Now what ? will my plants survive ? what's the next step ? do I need to add fish ? I wanted to see that the plants are good first . Thanks and again sorry for the very beginner question there is so much information out there its so confusing

also one more silly question ... do I need to turn off the filter when adding easy green to the water ?

Sorry for the second post in a day... this all thing is new to me. So this weekend It went to a very nice fish store here in NYC and they helped me set up my first tank (no fish yet) a lot of things and information went on at the store ( I was very impressed by the knowledge form the little I know) but I forgot to ask what plants they gave me 🙂 I emailed the store but I guess that I will get quicker response here ... so trying out my luck . here are some pictures 🙂 Thanks!!

I am a total newbie to the hobby , Last week I purchased this tank its been running for a week now with some easy plants that seams to be doing ok , added bacteria, and the substrate that came with the kit some rocks and so far its lots of fun!! In the long run if the water conditions are good and plants are good do you think that I could host some guppies in that size tank ? I love guppies but that's all the space I can have in my apartment , if not please give me suggestions to other beginner fish that is not a beta that s can fit in the that tank (nothing against beta just not feeling it ) Thanks!!
