  1. Do your water change add active carbon for 24 -48hr to remove any remaining medication then do your second course two weeks after the first
  2. Yes you can use kanaplex instead of maracyn2 not in food as kanaplex is poorly absorbed by the intestinal tract so not much of the medication makes it into the blood stream

    Fish help!

Parasitic infection can cause the odd random death spread over a long period of time are your using a dechlorinator like prime when doing water changes @Kflory

    Fish help!

With no symptoms to go off other than green water and bacterial bloom its odd one have you noticed any fish spitting food out loss of appetite sunken belly
  5. That looks like epistylis on your mollie most effective for epistylis is maracyn2 in food feeding a small amount twice a day for 7 days and dose the tank with ick X you can add a small amount of aquarium salt epistylis feeds off of gram negative bacteria on the slime coat of your fish and spreads more quickly at higher temperatures I wouldn't recommend raising the temperature and the combination of maracyn2 and ick X will treat epistylis and ich @Brinny

    Fish help!

When you get green water or a bacterial bloom that will lower levels of desloved oxygen what filtration are you using have you noticed Any rapid breathing hanging out near the surface @Kflory
  7. You can use minocycline tablet the recommended dose is 0.6gram of minocycline is 10mg so you want dose 10mg for 10 gallons
  8. Given the length of time between deaths it's less likely to be a bacterial infections I couldn't rule it out with bloating and raised scales can be caused by a parasitc infection I would have expected it to have affected your other fish given the length of time what it's been going on have you notice any aggression between your CPD it's not uncommon for them to kill each other if you do need to use an antibiotic treatment I would use maracyn2 active ingredient minocycline won't harm shrimp kanaplex isn't effective in food as very little of the medication makes it into the blood stream though the intestinal tract
  9. Looks like natural colour change as they get older it's not uncommon for them to change colour @Lucidkaos
  10. If you haven't added epsom I would do that that give it a couple of days then do a course of kanaplex
  11. Dojo loach predominantly eat insect larvae and snails ideal diet would be frozen or live blood worms black worms daphnia pest snails hikari sinking wafers Xtreme community swim bladder can be caused by a number of things such as the fish over eating and the stomach putting pressure on the swim bladder a bacterial infections of the swim bladder an injury or parasitic infections what i would do is quarantine and do a course of kanaplex as to your other question on how long to wait that all depends on quality of life would do the course of kanaplex feed frozen or live daphnia for the next week then give an update and add a small amount of epsom salt 1 table spoon for 10 gallons as epsom salt acts as a muscle relaxant to help relieve pressure on the swim bladder at that level it won't harm your loach
  12. I would use pellets over flake i would use hikari micro pellets there good for tetras and guppies or Xtreme nano pellets maracyn2 won't harm your clown pleco
  13. That looks like an injury with secondary fungal infections on the white loach the other one have injured itself I would treat with a combination of ick X and a broad spectrum antibiotic treatment such as kanaplex or maracyn2 @Kel
  14. That's a prolapse you would want to treat with epsom salt baths 1 table spoon for 1 gallon for no more than 15 minutes for 5 days as Epsom salt acts as a muscle relaxant to help your fish reabsorb the prolapse I would treat the prolapse first than follow up with another course of general cure @Yuping
  15. Am not seeing Ich on your angelfish I can see some issues with the fins I would add some aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 2 gallons just remember to only put back in what you take out so if you do a 2 gallon water change put 1 table spoon of salt back as salt only removed though water changes for a week it can take 4 full course of expel p to treat camallanus worms one week apart
  16. That looks like HITH can be linked to nutritional deficiency poor water quality Hexamita active carbon can play role so if your using active carbon I would stop using it look at his diet to see if he's missing anything the most effective treatment is metronidazole in food that's the active ingredient in metroplex or fritz metrocleanse feeding a small amount twice a day for upto 3 weeks
  17. You don't need to use garlic guard it just makes the medicated food more appetising focus blind the medication to the food I recommend using pellets over flake with this medicated food recipe it won't harm your clown pleco if you can't make the medicated food I would dose the tank with maracyn2 it could harm your benefial bacteria as it's an antibiotic treatment if you have some cycled media from another tank you could add if you start to see any ammonia or nitrite during treatment or you could dose bottled bacteria daily during treatment @AquaticTurtle
  18. It's no uncommon for fish to have two things going on going such as a parasitic infections and secondary bacterial infection what I would after your second course of expel p is do a course of maracyn2 in food feeding a small amount twice a day for 7 days if there not eating dose the tank @AquaticTurtle
  19. Given the length of time you had the fish before onset of symptoms a parasitic infections is unlikely unless you added any new fish recently if you haven't I would stop treating with prazipro and metroplex what are you feeding and how often as over feeding can cause the stomach to put pressure on the swim bladder any loss of colour
  20. Did you notice any of the symptoms I mentioned above what symptoms were you seeing to suggest camallanus worms
  21. What were your water parameters when it first started showing symptoms how long have you had the loach before onset of symptoms any rapid breathing flashing spitting food out sunken belly white stringy poop @suzanneisalive
  22. Feeding vegetables to often can cause a bloom of infusoria I have had it happen when i have been heavily feeding my colony of bristlenose with cucumber blanched spinach and lettuce
  23. Can you post some pictures of the Sick fish have you notice any rapid breathing hanging out near the surface lethargy flashing spitting food out sunken belly white stringy poop
  24. Colu

    Corydora

Looks like some hemorrhaging that could be caused by swimming into something in the tank or ammonia burn can cause redness around the Gill area what are your water parameters ammonia nitrite nitrate pH KH GH temperature @BIRD0887
  25. As it's paler and thinner than the others it might be worthwhile doing a course of paracleanse now then following up with second course in two weeks
