  1. Most likely parasites. Try several medications such as maybe Paraguard by seachem. I'd say it is probably dactylogyrus trematodes.
  2. I believe it is biofilm. Quite beneficial. Shrimp, fish, and snails enjoy grazing on it so if it is biofilm I would probably leave it be. If you don't like the look scrub it off with a clean toothbrush.
  3. I am not very educated on pea puffers and what they are having may be a regular thing, but have you considered diplopstomiasis? I am not sure on how to treat it but I saw people talking about praziquantel.
  4. I wanted to get 1 or 2 bamboo shrimp for my aquarium because I believe the parameters and filter flow would be perfect but was wondering if I should risk it. My betta Freddy isn't nippy and quite calm but I want to know if it would be a smart idea to take a chance.
  5. I am already planning on putting a male plakat betta, kuhli loaches, and cherry shrimp to it. I'd like to add it will be heavily planted. It will be the first tank I've done were I actually did my research. I was looking at endlers but maybe the tank might be too small.
