mgudyka
Hi all, Is someone able to identify what this white stuff is that is on my driftwood? Is it bad? What do I do about it?

What do I do about it? My guess is that this is a new piece of driftwood. It is very common for new driftwood to initially develop a 'biofilm'. These biofilms are short-lived and harmless. In fact shrimp love to nibble on them so I wouldn't do anything about it.
OceanTruth
It’s completely normal for driftwood to get a little fungus on it at first. It goes away on its own after a while and it normally doesn’t come back again. Some people clean it off, but I just leave it.

lefty o
agree, a little fungus bloom. it happens with new wood, as the sugars leach out of it, the fungus feeds on it. it is fairly short lived. while unsightly, it causes no harm.
