What good things are happening in your tanks?

My LFS finally had some Java moss - yay! It was a good price, too!

Because of six or eight bad decisions, I killed off my bacteria colonies. After a week and a half, I've finally turned the corner. I have shrimp, so I didn't want to do any big water changes. I've been doing two or three smallish water changes per day, plus adding bottled bacteria, using zeolite, and a filter from another tank. 

So far, there are no losses. No one has even shown signs of distress. 

The highest levels of ammonia and nitrite, I recorded, were 2 and 5 ppm respectively. Currently,  they're at 1 and 3 ppm.

Another amano shrimp had a successful molt! I’m always relieved when I see that—it indicates they’ve been healthy and getting enough nutrients for the last two weeks.

My aponogeton is getting ready to flower!  None of my fish are dead!  Yeah, I keep pretty low standards.

My new snails have gotten all the algae off the glass and the anubias. The ramshorn snails are so pretty and the Malaysian snails are allowing me to plant the Cryptocoryne parva over and over and over again. 😁 Also, my one baby Ember tetra abides. Maybe I should name him the Dude.

One of my female strawberry rasboras has developed a taste for snail eggs. I am hoping others follow her example.
