Atitagain
Don’t think I’d say expert only but for best chances their gonna need a well seasoned tank at a minimum. Both of these fish are the only ones i ever drip accumulate and real careful of startling them for first few days. beginner no but definitely need to research and they take extra care to set up good conditions. I have 20RN and 10C in QT now waiting to join the school in my 75G. Both are amazing fish. GL
BlueLineAquaticsSC
Never kept them myself, but considering how common both of them are in the hobby I’d say the are probably more intermediate. Also I hope those are lot prices and not individual.
lefty o
they are far from expert only.
Biotope Biologist
I’d say that just like with skiing this is a deterrent for beginners. Any intermediate skier can get down an ‘experts only’ slope. Whenever I see ‘experts only’ on anything I read it as “if you aren’t confident in your abilities stay away”

Aguinaga
I bought 30 cardinal and put them in a 20 gallon long for quarantine. I used 2 Aquarium co-op sponge filters from seasoned tanks to start them off in the new tank. I ran 2 cycles of paracleanse and only lost 1. I do believe getting them from a quality shop is very important.
