Hey everyone,

Please feel free to join in and post things that you feel are unique to your experience or just something that you're witnessing in your tanks that's pretty cool.

For me....

I check on the tanks prior to bed and I don't think anyone would believe me if I didn't show them, 30 or so corydoras fry going bananas and when I tossed in food they went even crazier.

They really are such a nocturnal fish sometimes!

Feeding fresh vegetables to omnivores and herbivores does not foul the water nearly as bad as commercial foods.

Algae is natures gift to fish breeding. Oxygenates the water, provides microfauna home to thrive and feed fry. Provides protection for eggs to be laid in. Is nutritious for those fish that eat it.

If you aren't planning to run CO2, aquasoil will create a painful algae farm if you don't cap it.

Yikes! duly noted

That omnivore is a nice way of saying Plant Eater!

I just bought some assassin snails because the pest snails find my buce delectable.
