nabokovfan87
Hey everyone, Please feel free to join in and post things that you feel are unique to your experience or just something that you're witnessing in your tanks that's pretty cool. For me.... I check on the tanks prior to bed and I don't think anyone would believe me if I didn't show them, 30 or so corydoras fry going bananas and when I tossed in food they went even crazier. They really are such a nocturnal fish sometimes! 1
Theplatymaster
lets see here, according the the internet: platies can be fed standard flake food male platies do not bother each other at all According to my experience: platies should be fed foods with good vegetable content male platies will harmlessly spar with each other, or chase each other around. Guppysnail
Feeding fresh vegetables to omnivores and herbivores does not foul the water nearly as bad as commercial foods. Algae is natures gift to fish breeding. Oxygenates the water, provides microfauna home to thrive and feed fry. Provides protection for eggs to be laid in. Is nutritious for those fish that eat it. JJenna
I saw this Amano out for the first time in months on a coconut petal. I've also determined that 99% of the hair algae that I clean from my plants is actually my hair. Edited February 23, 2023 by JJenna 9

mynameisnobody
@Theplatymaster ich-x is pretty self explanatory that it will stain what it touches. Water conditioner seems to take people by surprise.
