Ok finally getting to put a post up with the new fun friends for the 20 gal long tank. It's been a busy week with the trip then going places around home.

But enough of that your here for wet pets fun. So originally this tank was going to be peacock gudgeons and aspidoras. But the more myself and my pic @Guppysnail thought about we figured that would a tank of just bottom tank dwellers. So with that in mind I still went with the aspidoras but instead of the gudeons I went with cpds. @Guppysnailhad 2 very young juveniles for me. As well she picked up a trio of them for me at the fish swap. Jen from small world aquatics always has nice healthy fish so it was a no brainier to get them from her.

As well from her I picked up a baby/juvenile hillstream loach that I have decided to name mochi.

so as of right now I have 5 cpds 7 aspidoras who will from now be known as the wiggle butts, mochi loachey and the 3 runts magenta mystery snails from the clutch I raised.

everyone is still very small and very very hard to get pictures of.

it was so amazing to get to finally meet @Guppysnail and visit her fishtopia. She was so welcoming to me and my girls. Hannah had the chance to feed all of her tanks and even got to catch all of her own fish for her 2.5 gal shrimp tank. Of course she put me to work as well bagging up all of my plants to get them ready for the trip home 😆 I honestly don't know how she keeps up with all of it. But she has it down to a science. So many fun things going on in each tank. I came home with so much new stuff from rocks to clay pots worm cultures and more. And that was just from her.

Such a nice setup! (all of it, all the things)

I'm excited to see more.  The loaches look amazing, the shrimp is just hanging out.  The aspidoras are wonderful, and the CPDs is a perfect choice to fill out the tank.   If you get a hankering for more, I would suggest white clouds.  🙂

That stocking is really making me miss my old setup I had, especially those borneo loaches I randomly found at the petco.

It's really cool you were able to go and meet Guppysnail and see all the wonderful things going on, an awesome journey for sure!

Yes everyone is still really small right now. Some of the crypts are starting to take a hold and grow a bit. It's just finally nice to have some fishy friends in the tank.

So we have some exciting news for the shrimp sanctuary tank. The new 20 gal long was not the only tank to get new friends. On the pa trip @Guppysnail gave me 6 wizard snails for the sanctuary. They are very shy timid snails that stay on there shells quite a bit. So she gave them to me in the hopes that I can get them to breed. Since all of her tanks always have a lot of action going on. The hope is that the shrimp sanctuary will be quiet enough for them to breed for us. They do give birth to live baby snails!

Most of them stay hidden and I really don't see them. Until just now I finally got a pic of one on the glass!

Yes I came home with so much stuff from this trip. Some of the shrimp Hannah caught herself went into her 2 5 gal mini shrimp tank. The rest she put into the 29 killi tank. All of them are doing well. And lemony and luna are getting bigger. Maybe by the end of summer she will be mommy ready.

Just wanted to share some close ups of Mochi when I was temporarily fostering until Mochi went home with Dad.
Every morning Mochi came to this little log as soon as she seen me. Waiting patiently for me to sprinkle her some first bites or sera micron. 🥰

Good morning fellow nerms. How about some coffee with Teejay. The birds outside are chirping like crazy and it going to be almost 80 degrees today. Good but bad when you will be in the hot kitchen all day at work  but enough of that

The new friends have been in there new tank for a week now. Everyone is adjusting well and getting more comfortable in there new surroundings. The wigglebutts still like to hide and play in the caves more than anything. I get more glimpses of mochi now. I think she is getting used to me more and recognizing who I am. Especially since a certain @Guppysnail spoiled her before I got there

The cpds are doing good and getting more active each day. They like hikari first bites and did well with the golden pearls. We may try a bit of frozen bbs for them tonight and see how they do.

I did add the spraybar attachment to the 207 a few days ago. I'm still on the fence if I like it or not. I might go back to the regular return and see if it makes a difference in the activity of the fish before I decide on what setup I want to go with.

The runt snails are more active in this tank than they ever were in the other tanks so I think this will be where they stay long term. And there growing better in here as well. Have a good day everyone.
