Apparently he found a little cave at the base of that mopani decoration and he was hiding out in there earlier. It looked like a fishless tank. Then he popped his head out like, haha! Surprise!

A brief moment of silence for my friend’s guppy, Studly. Today, he became lunch for 1 bumblebee cat. Studly leaves behind a wife and a mistress and about 75 children. 😢

Both his wife and his mistress are expecting and thus, his other 50 kids shall never meet or know their father.

There are 2 leaf hammocks and one pipe and 2 swim thru rocks. He recognized the rocks and went through one.

I think he’s going to use the left leaf hammock because I fed him above it, and he’s been returning to it repeatedly. I haven’t seen him rest in it yet, but he hasn’t been in there very long.

Also added Fritz Zyme 7 even though the filter is seeded. I just want to be thorough. I should add some tannin water also. I forgot to prepare some. Next week maintenance I will do that.

I showed her photos of my tanks and she has MTS herself. 🙂 

There is something I really like about this tank. The simplicity maybe.

I will aim something similar in my new fish room at least in one tank

It's totallllllly dirty.  do you see that layer of messy mess?  It might be hard to see because I'm currently arguing with my camera app.

I'll siphon stuff today.  No Corydoras in that tank, just the clown pleco.

You need a shrimp cleaner for a day.  Sit there and clean it up then have em spend all day checking periodically for baby shrimps.

Honestly though, some sand is just easier to clean.  The stuff in Riddick's tank is the extra extra fine sand and it's a major hassle.  It's like glue.  Every time I try to clean it I take a bunch of sand with me.  Silt, heck, I can't even call it sand it's so fine.

I don't know why it's always so exciting to get an aquarium co op order. It's literally just some water care supplies and some Repashy.  Although I am looking forward to making some cute Repashy shapes for my snail and shrimp friends.  🙂
