I just saw him yesterday. He’s doing well! He has lightened up and developed some dark spots (what she had hoped for) because he is a wild type axolotl.

She had upgraded the container for her earthworm farm (was previously using this one)

because the worms were doing so well, constantly reproducing, etc - and then you know what happened?  The axolotl decided he doesn’t like worms anymore..!!!!  Her box turtle Lucy will eat some but that’s not a complete diet! What’s she gonna do with all those worms? I guess they could be garden worms but it’s kind of a shame!

Oh also check out her guppy. Isn’t he handsome?

He’s CONSTANTLY after one particular female. There is another female but she is “second choice” 🥲. She’s prettier too. Yellow tail.  I noticed while I was there how well guppies clean plants! And her fry were picking around in the gravel as well.

I don’t know. That’s a pretty cool lamp… not that anyone asked me 🤣

I bought it at the beginning of my cpa exam journey. I knew I’d have a good 18 months or so of studying, and I wanted something pretty to look at on my desk. (Also the lamp serves as incentive for me to sit there and get the task done! Trust me- it can be stressful and overwhelming so every little bit helps.)

The cat loves the warmth of desk lamps.

ACO loot haul!

plant weights- always going thru em. I think they get eaten by my tanks.

media bags- for the first time! (Goodbye pantyhose.) The problem with pantyhose is you can’t get the knot out to reuse it for something else, so you have to cut it open, then throw it away.

More root tabs to restock, for my beautiful forest of plants from @GuppysnailFor example, this sword and this red lily.

Heater- for redundancy, in case one quits at some point. The one in the 29g is pretty old.

Sticker - free bonus! 🥰

And the specimen container! Which has been in my cart countless times but never made the cut. In my head I can already think of many ways it will be useful.

Now, there was one more item. But it is a secret. I will say it is something that Geppetto is reeeaaaally gonna be excited about. And that is all I will say for now. 😉

BBS?

@TheSwissAquarist guessed correctly! It is indeed baby brine shrimp! I raised them for 48 hr so they’d be more visible.

Gepettos hunting reminds he so much of my old betta…as soon as he saw one of his kids which I failed to take out.😅 Good Times!

Thats a seriously good BBS hatching setup you’ve got there! I’ve never thought about using a glass jar with an airline close to the surface…

Thanks! There is an airstone in there. I removed it once they hatched. The hatch took about a day and a half.

LOL.  Kids always telling that one.  The other one is "What kind of shoes do ninjas wear?"

Popsicle stick, candy, string cheese jokes for days.
