I agree with @Odd Duck I have had many filters not start back up and all it took was removing the impeller rinse it put it back in and away it runs.....

extremely high kh, you could probly put a whole almond tree in that tank and would see no diffrence, well the water would turn a golden tea brown, which I think is very pretty Almond leaves are great and very beneficial. I always have a bag of 25 or more on hand and keep them in all my tanks....... well not in my African cichlid tank -

Been reading here for a while, bout time I join in on the fun. I have 8 tanks from 10 gallons all the way to 150 gallons.....
