That snowman is looking pumped to get some of that BBS!

New Sticker Thursday.
We are up to 22 custom stickers. This might be the last new addition for a bit. I think it is a pretty sweet one too.

I thought that the green water explosion in this 30 breeder was stifling breeding, as I had not seen another group of fry from the lyretails. Well, last night I was pleasantly surprised to see a nice school of fry at the surface crunching on some Aquarium Co-Op baby brine shrimp!
I count 25 in this pic alone. The group extended to the other side of the center support with at least another ~10 fry?

One way to learn more is to check out these two books.
I got my copy of 'American Aquarium Fishes' from Bob Goldstein (the author) in exchange for a few Pygmy Sunfish. It covers everything and has some nice photos:
The 'Freshwater Fishes of South Carolina' book has good species pages with maps on each fish.
The sharp eyed will notice the Blue-barred pygmy sunfish on the cover of the South Carolina book. 🙂 And the even sharper eyed will notice the Rosario LaCorte book 'Aquarist Journey' behind the South Carolina book. @Randy has several good interviews with Rosario on his Aquarist Podcast, which I highly recommend.
And now more books to add to my collection!

I hate that I had to get these, but I can't have randos parking in front of my dumpsters on garbage day. 😤

This hobby is making me go more so in on eating fish. My example being eating, and enjoying, pleco soup in Peru.
The invasive plecos in Florida are the same ones that can be used for this delicious meal. Let's get the Pleco Soup campaign going to help the Florida waterways, native species, vegetation, and that cuddly manatee by catching and cooking this tasty bottom dweller. 😋🍲
You can watch the clip below of us getting down on Pleco soup.

@Randy any chance you can take pics of your fish room racks so we can see how you set them up and can you let us know what size they are?
I'm trying to decide what racks to use between gladiator and the edsal 3 shelf rack.
@Ryan S. did you check out this video yet?
Dimensions aside, my vote will always be for Gladiator racks.

Sneak peak. Next two episodes will be with people who are also forum members. 🙂
Hope everyone enjoys as I had an absolute blast talking with both these individuals.

Hi @Nat. I don't know if I like watching the fish more or my boys (4 and 1.5) reactions to the fish. Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing the pics of your awesome tanks!

Oh man, that at least adds 2 HP. I think they even help cool the air and add a vortex twist! 🤣
This is great!

@Phinny I really like the idea of a dwarf gourami. More body than a betta and I love how they use their "feelers"/pelvic fins too.

So I live in Canada... as if that alone is not bad enough (joking... but I do hate winter!), of course Aquarium Co op doesn’t ship here.
A friend of mine tells me about this 3rd party company that can do the link. So after a shopping frenzy at aquarium co op (apisto cave! 😍), the package is sent to that other company. I was beyond the moon when I saw that I got a cardinal tetra decal!!!!!
Said 3rd party cost me a liver to ship to Canada but hey, it’s aquarium co op so well worth it, right?
...except they repackaged the whole thing and lost my sticker... 😭😭😭
I am thinking about suing them, as such a rare collector item is priceless. For how many millions do you reckon I should sue them @Cory ? 🤔
Hi @Karen B.. That is such a bummer that the 3rd party lost your sticker.
Hopefully one day soon we can expand our product offering into Canada via Amazon or directly shipping. That being said, we do have Easy Green and Easy Iron on Amazon.ca at present.

I have run one 3.0 on a 40 breeder and had no issues with the plants I was trying to grow. I find that the 3.0 is a very powerful light and often needs to be dimmed down.

Okeefenokee Swamp, yes! These are great photos, @Daniel.
I need to have my dad dig through his photos to see if there is one of a young Randy next to our family thunderdome 55g.

Just to put some feedback out there, I'm looking forward to hearing @Bob on again. That episode was really enjoyable, and it seems like you two can stir up enough conversation for a bunch more episodes. Loved the content, guys!
Hey @Ali, glad you enjoyed that interview.
If @Bob will have me he is certainly welcome back in the lowest budget studio in podcasting history. 🤣

A little late on this one, but took in the last (i think) of my common and albino bristlenose juvies.
@Robert how many do you think, 30?

I've loved Aquarium Co-op videos, and am a huge fan. Finally made my first order today! Baby Brine shrimp cysts, easy green fertilizer, usb nano pump (always handy), a few other odds and ends. I dont know why, but I find it exciting lol!
Thank you for your order @aquachris!

Hi Will, welcome! Thanks for the sharing the pics. Your two shots of them remind me that I need to keep some Congo Tetras at some point in the future. 🙂
