The rocks will develop a nice patina of bacteria over time. This is very healthy for the ecosystem of your aquarium. I don't think I have ever cleaned my rocks because 'prettier' rocks were nowhere near as attractive as a healthy aquarium.

A stiff brush if you must.  

There are exceptions, but a nice clean rock looks like what it is: a rock in an aquarium.  An aged rock looks like it belongs there.

Luv the biplane btw.  It would not look nearly as good if it was in showroom condition!
