Decidueye_
Would I be able to put my ziss brine shrimp hatchery in my aquarium? I don't have an extra heater for them and the ambient temp in my house is gonna make them hatch slow (ab 55°).
doktor zhivago
Yeah you can hang it on there. Just be careful you got the valve closed so you don't leak salt water inside the tank

Flavoi1
If you don't mind a bit of a janky setup you can use some clamps to fasten it to the tank. I did this once cause my room temp is a bit low and I needed bbs fast. Like @doktor zhivago mentioned make sure your hatchery doesn't leak! Here is a great video where dean shows how he hatches bbs. If you prepare your bbs like this they should survive until you feed again the next day. This means you can hatch them outside of your tank and don't have the potential of acidentally spilling 2 liters of saltwater into your tank. Let us know how it goes 🙂
Guppysnail
Just something that would not cause stress on the tank rim. I use these. They are $20 on Amazon. Not super cheap but well worth every penny.

I used to keep water lines from freezing using a 75 Watt bulb
Administrators Cory Posted May 28 Administrators Share Posted May 28 You can totally hang it in the tank. It's designed to do that. It won't float with water in it. It keeps temp incredibly well this way. Then you hang it on the outside to harvest it.
