Rypa Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 Is it clear and free of distortion? Thanks in advance!
Guppysnail Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 I personally think mine is very clear and without distortion. I do not however photograph in it so grain of salt with that recommendation 1
lefty o Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 as far as fish containers go, it is pretty clear. 1
Patrick_G Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 Mine was very clear when new but it's become a bit cloudy over the course of a year. 1
AllFishNoBrakes Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 In the most recent ACO video of Cory in the fish room he was talking about the specimen container and how they opted for “ultra clear plastic” for both excellent visibility and to make it indestructible. However, like with anything else, scratches and things like that can eventually take over if not cared for properly to not allow it to happen. 1
nabokovfan87 Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 Yes it works, but order 2. Don't use the "photo one" for anything but photos. 2
Rypa Posted December 18, 2022 Author Posted December 18, 2022 Great! Thank you for the help. Now what is your favorite lens and settings? I sold my macro because I went to a full frame camera. Don't want to purchase another lens without asking those with experience in aquarium photography. I've often been disappointed with the depth of field in macro shots, even with tiny apertures. I would like more than just an eyeball in focus. (Canon girl here) Thanks again ❤️
