Water pump for water changes

Hello everyone, hope everyone is having a great week so far.

For those that use a water pump for water changes, which brand do you guys use? I'm currently using buckets for water changes and have been on the look out for a good water pump but I wanted to know what you experienced fish keepers use.

I honestly just use a cheapo-but-reasonably-reviewed-off-amazon water pump in a bucket for putting water back into the tank from a 5 gallon bucket.  It's the same kind of pump someone might use for a pond, so I'd look for pond pumps with enough lift height to reach your tanks from your bucket. 

I've had my cheap pump for over a year at this point, and have had zero problems with it.

I only use a bucket and 2 different hand start siphons for my tanks (after using several). I use this in my tanks 10 gallons and under:

Since neither are expensive I have 5 tanks and each has their own siphon so as to avoid any contamination. Only issue I kinda have with the Nano pump (1st one) is it's not great at vacuuming as it wants to suck all the gravel in- but it's a good quick water changer for small tanks and vacuums my bare bottom tank great. Even squeezing the tube doesn't really help- but I don't vacuum the nanos often- I use a turkey baster or coral feeder when I need to. The 2nd pump for my 20 gallon tanks vacuums great- mostly due to the square attachment having vents on all 4 sides.

I started a thread about DIY tools I’ve made to make my life easier, but I’ll post here as well. 
 

I still use the small pump in the 5 gallon bucket for my small tank, and have since upgraded to a Python and sold the bigger system to another fish friend 

 

I’ll add that depending in the price of the pump, the tubing, the pvc (if you go that route), etc. it might be equal to the cost of a Python. Highly recommend the Python if you can swing it!

I use a fountain/pond pump similar to what others have posted. $15-20 on Amazon

I'm also with the pond pump crowd.  Mine is a little Giant Pond Works.  At 132 gph. It is a little slow at 6Ft. of lift, but that allows me time to do other things, and it doesn't blow out the fish, plants, or gravel.  I have a pvc valve attached too slow it down for the short sanded tank.
