Tyler Kaplan
They seem to strongly prefer aquarium water to their water bowls... 2 6
Patrick_G
Beautiful kitty! My cat loves to stand on her hind legs and stretches to reach the rim of a tank that’s about 22” high. It’s hilarious 😆 Edited February 11, 2022 by Patrick_G
xXInkedPhoenixX
They like anything that doesn't have a "cat" label on it. Like CAT bowl, CAT box, CAT toy, CAT bed....all rejected in one form or another. Unless of course they accept your offering, but only on their terms. They are indeed the rebels of the animal world. Guppysnail
I bought each of my two cats a cat water fountain drinking dish to keep them out of my tanks but their favorite is still my water staging bins and buckets to drink from 🤪
Streetwise
My cat Valcour is a former stray who I adopted though my window. He only trusts moving water. He drinks out of my utility tanks, and I grow out plants in his water bowl, which he does use. 1 3
xXInkedPhoenixX
@Guppysnail buy a BIRD or DESK fountain. The error is in the label. 🙃 1
Torrey
@Streetwise I should have thought of that! I gave our (obviously mislabeled) cat fountain to my MiL because her chihuahua kept getting kidney stones from not drinking enough water. Our cats wouldn't use it🤷♂️ When the very old chihuahua passed on, and the new chihuahua/papillon/pom mix refused to go within 5' of the water fountain, my MiL threw it away🤦♂️

CT_
My parent's cat really likes to "dig" and then drink form the duckweed covered pond. My dad calls it the cat's "salad bar". 1 1
