Michaelmcg
Anyone seen a shrimp climb out of the water before? I just caught one on top of a floating algae mat at the surface. It was all the way out of the water for a bit, enough that at first I thought it was a bug that fell in the tank. I got a real quick video of it but I spooked it when I tried to get a better angle. 2
Ken Burke
Not out of the water, but my shrimp frequently hang out on the duckweed. I’ll have to keep my eye out for that now….
Andy's Fish Den
I have never seen it, but I know they'll climb out of tanks. I have a rack of ten gallon tanks, four on each level, I put shrimp in the two end tanks, and now there are shrimp in each tank. I have never moved plants or anything between the tanks. I think that shrimp have climbed up the airline tubing that goes in each tank and made their way into the neighboring tanks.
Guppysnail
I’ve seen my neocaridina climb the airline out of water. When I tried frogbit (and failed 😝) they would occasionally climb on top
