Garlic Enhancement

What do you use to infuse garlic flavoring into the food for your finicky eaters? I’ve been looking around and the only product I’ve found is Seachem Garlic Guard.

I use garlic guard. Seems to do the trick when using medicine.

Have you considered spiking some holes in a clove of garlic and putting it in a container with some dry food.

Haven't used it with fish food but have used it what way to flavour other things.

We use Garlic Guard.  I suppose you could squeeze your own garlic juice, but I'm happy to just buy a bottle of the stuff.

I use garlic guard. There was a post before on sing fresh garlic which I grow so I tried it and it worked fine BUT it was a pain and my whole house smelled for a week from the purée process 🤣

I used Garlic Guard every day for a months. After I read something indicating that it was a myth that fish like garlic, I stopped. I have not put Garlic Guard in the food for three days now.

The fish still eat like they did before.

I noticed the water was noticeably clearer when I did not use Garlic Guard.

I feed six days a week, with Sunday usually being a fasting day. On Monday, the water is always clearer. But since I stopped using Garlic Guard, it is that clear all the time.

While the fish might like the taste (who knows?), I think a lot of the Garlic Guard leaches into the water during feeding, and becomes food for bacteria in the water column, resulting in cloudy water. It is like putting extra food in the tank, but extra food that the fish cannot eat.
