New packaging for bloodworms?

It’s usually cubes. What’s up with this?

That's the old school way of packaging. They still carry it in some stores. Break a bit off and thaw. Less convienient than the pop out cubes. *I* always have to read the packages carefully and make sure I get mini cubes not the regular sized ones, so I've come across these a few times as well.

Have you seen the individually packed cubes? I love them wife got me some and they haven’t been in stock last 2 times I went to get my frozen foods so had to buy the regular mini cubes.

Hikari packages some frozen food both in cubes and in large solid blocks. I get the large Mysis in blocks for the anemones, but everything else I make sure to read the package and get the cubes. You can try breaking a one inch "strip" by hitting it on the edge of the counter, then break that strip again and save cubes in a plastic bag.

Thanks, it is pretty easy to break up.

i used to like the old 8"x10" or so sheets blood worms were sold in. was great when i had small sturgeon, cubes would have bankrupted a guy. pull out of freezer, whack a corner against the counter and break off a chunk.😎

I feel like the sheets like that are good for a lot of fish or larger fish too which is why those are still around.
