NoahT
I've seen the videos about Cory's outdoor tub of brine shrimp. I've recently moved into a house so I have the opportunity to setup a couple of tubs outside. My question is . . . I live in HOT Arizona. How temperature sensitive is/are brine shrimp? 1
aehageman
I wanna know too! Arkansas is not as hot or dry. Almost as hot and more wetter!! Probably more bugs here too!

NoahT
Spirulina as a beginning food source. Brine shrimp eggs and live baby brine tossed in. And a small bottle ziptied to the side to hatch some eggs separately. Now it's a matter of time to see what happens.

ArchwayAquatics
Congrats on the success! Are you still feeding them spirulina? How often?
NoahT
I actually haven't feed anything. Think they are surviving on the bugs that fall in and the algae that grows
ARMYVET
WHat are your temps during the height of the sun ? How big have the brine shrimp gotten?
DSH OUTDOORS
Nice work! What was your initial amount of salt per gallon?
NoahT
I honestly couldn't tell you how much salt I added initially. Bought a 40lb bucket of marine salt and dumped approximately 2/3 of it into the tub. And I haven't actually checked the temp of the tub. It just kind of sits there and does it's own thing.
