I’m curious if I’ve over stocked my 20 Long planted tank. I have 2 female Bettas, 6 Rio Von Tetras, 4 Emerald Corys, 10 small Neon Tetras and 2 Nerite Snails. At the moment the nitrate levels are not rising at a fast rate and I’m only doing 25% water changes every two weeks when nitrate levels reach 40 ppm. For plants I have 8 well established plants, (5 crypts, 1 aquarium lily, 1 water sprite and 1 moneywort). Is my tank over stocked? It should be noted that all the fish are getting along well and not over crowded.

Hello everyone. I have a 24 gallon aquarium. I currently have 4 honey gouramis, 4 julii corydoras, 2 guppies, 1 sword tail, 1 albino bristlenose pleco, and approx 15 shrimp. I don’t see any aggression, the odd time I see the gourami chase another gourami but they seem to alternate who does the chasing. Never any biting or nipping even during feeding time. Here is a photo of the tank in hopes it helps. Am I overstocked? Understocked? Neutral?

Here’s my 10 g tank with plants mostly from A-C. It’s technically very overstocked with 23 fish- 9 glow lights, 7 pristellas, 4 sparkling gouramis, 2 otocinclus and one scarlet badis. But it gets a substantial water change a week, and regular feeding of bbs. Plants are thriving. All the residents are healthy, showing nice colors, active and non aggressive. The pristellas and gouramis spawn regularly so it seems I’m getting away with the crowding. 🤷♂️🙂

So I started cycling my 29 gallon about 2 months ago the plants came in about 4 days before Christmas. Now they have exploded, I haven’t dosed in about 2 weeks and I do water changes every other week. There is also no Co2 running. The 1st picture was taken 2 weeks ago and the 2nd was taken today. So you guys know how the Hornwort went crazy very quickly. Also could you guys rate my tank and tell me what I could do to make it look cooler. Inhabitants: 3 golden Panchax Killifish 5 black skirt tetras 1 white skirt tetra 4 Corydoras 1 SAE I know my tank is a bit overstocked but I also have 2 sponge filters for a 30 gallon. Also if you guys had any advise on breeding Golden Panchax Killifish it would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Hello everyone! Im planning a new 125 gallon long. I know it may be slightly overstocked but am wondering if it is doable. Gonna keep this short and sweet so here's the tank details and planned fish: Fish: 5 Dojo Loaches 6 Zebra Loaches 5 Panda Garra 10 Gold Barbs 4 Bala Sharks (I plan to return them to the LFS when they reach 7-8 inches) 8 Dwarf Neon Rainbowfish Tank details/filtration: 125 Gal Heavily planted (as well as pothos growing out of the top with roots dangling in the water) Fx6 Canister filter A powerhead Feeding a combo of freeze dried bloodworms/frozen bloodworms/hikari bottom feeder pellets Malaysian Trumpet Snails 35% water changes weekly There you have it folks. Let me know what your thoughts are. I appreciate any and all input and will not get upset if you disagree with me, so don't be shy, just share your opinion 😉
