  1. I have a question my solo congo puffer is in a 40 breeder. I have the option of getting a 60 gallon cube 24 x 24 x 24. Are those good dimensions.
  2. Now before you yell at me I have a 40 breeder with the Congo puffer in it currently im a college student so move the tank every semester pretty much. What I was wondering was that could a solo spotted Congo puffer grow live happy, not stunt growth, and not overstock the tank. I would just be easier to move. If not that is ok just had a thought any input would be great.
  3. Hi I have a question I have a 40 breeder with a congo puffer and 3 panda garas. And their doing great. Im in college so moving a 40 gallon tank every semester can be a chore so what I was going to ask was could a congo puffer live solo in a 20 long ? If not that is perfectly fine I was just wondering. The other thing is could he or she live comfortably without overstocking and live happy and not stunt growth.
  4. Even tho the puffer does not have ich would that hurt the puffer, I don’t want to lose 300 bucks
  5. Kristen the issue is that I had to put the puffer in the tank today because I don’t have.Quarantine tank I’m only aloud to have the one tank which is the 40 breeder. So since the puffer is in the tank that had the ich what should I do
  6. Well my issue is that I’m in college so only aloud to have one tank. So since the discus had the ich and were removed around a week ago. Should I treat the puffer then?
  7. Hi y’all I have a 40 breeder. I had 4 juvenile discus in the tank. Around 2-3weeks ago they got ich. And last week I returned them back to the store they were willing to nurse them back. So I decided and got a Congo puffer. He or she arrived today. Since the discus that were in there roughly 2-3 weeks ago and had ich. Should I treat the tank even though the puffer does not have ich. Because I don’t want the puffer to get ich, but also don’t want to kill him or her because he or she did not have ich any incite thankyou.
  8. Since the puffer will not have ich would that hurt the puffer?
  9. Oh what I was asking was in the tank I had discus in there that had ich. I had to trade them in due to tank size. I traded them in last week and noticed the ich on them the week before. What I was asking was if I put my new congo puffer in should I still treat the tank ?
  10. Ok I got to ask. I have a 40 breeder where the previous fish had ich. I recently got a spotted Congo puffer. For that tank. Since the previous fish had ich should I still treat the tank for precautionary measures. And also since the Congo puffer would not have ich would that hurt him. He was 250 bucks so I want to make sure that him and his 3 other panda garas in the tank stay healthy and don’t die.
  11. I had to sell them back I'm in college and could not give them a bigger tank so I decided to go with the compreciceps. Is 7 red fins and 3 pandas fine for life in a 40 b
  12. Hi I have a question I’m in college so tank size is limited to a 40 breeder. I have 7 red fin compreciceps and 3 panda garas. Could they live their full life in a 40 breeder without being overstocked or crowded, and have plenty of room. Also my tank is heavily planted. thankyou
  13. How long should I treat the tank for and also since the compresiceps are new and don’t have ich would the medicine harm them ?
  14. What would you advise treating it with ? It is heavily planted the tank.
  15. Hi guys I have a question I had to down size tank back to the 40 gallon. I figured out that my discus had ich. I took them back to the store and they took them back. And I got compreciseps a school of 7. Their in the tank that the discus were in. Since the discus were removed is the ich gone or should I put something in the tank since my new fish are in the same water that the discus were in?
  16. Hi guys have a question it looks like that it might have spread to the other discus what should I do?
  17. Ok the white dot is very small ,and it is the fish from what it appears to get picked on the most. Do you know what the white dots are? I can also try and add more pictures need be. also it seems that there are two that are very dominant, and two that are not dominant is that bad also ?
  18. Well should I treat it wha5 should I do ? Or leave it ?
  19. Here are some pictures of the white dot near the bottom of the fin the fish seems fine and eats also. Any thoughts
  20. There are 4 discus in my tank it seems that two are very dominant, and the less dominant ones have the one white dot on their tail.
  21. I think two have a white dot on their tail what does that mean?
