Hi, it seems like you already have new growth on your Pogostemon Stellatus Octopus! They don't grow back where you cut it but have offshoots.

Recently I've finally had the time to hatch bbs for my fish. However, after many failed attempts where none of the eggs hatched at all, I've come to the conclusion that my eggs are too old/were not kept properly. After researching online, I found out that I'm supposed to keep them in the freezer after opening. I haven't been doing that and now I have a whole tin of unused bbs eggs. What can i do with them? Can they just be fed as is?

i've got a pretty decent stocking though. nitrates are usually around 30-40 ppm and i do monthly water changes. i added a root tab a month ago but i'll add one more and see. I also thought livestock could be the issue, but new leaves also have holes.

I use root tabs and dose seachem flourish comprehensive. I can't seem to figure out what wrong. Crypts are my only rooted plants and they all seem to have holes in their leaves. It's been like this for a few months now. They're growing slower than they usually do. New leaves also emerge with holes in them. What's causing this???

My panda cory recently got a tail injury and it looked like some fungus was growing on it. I put him in a quarantine tank with meth blue. It's the second day and it seems to have become worse. The top part of the tail has become white and i notice a bit of internal bleeding.

im cycling a new tank and it currently has 1ppm of ammonia. my plants are coming in later today but some sources say that ammonia is toxic to plants? should i do a water change? Thanks!

Can I just take a random leaf and put it in my tank? What do I need to worry about and how do I prep them. I heard kuhli loaches and shrimp like leaf litter. Thanks!

From the pictures of his listing he only had a cichlid. Hopefully he'll tell me he had snails when I ask him...😅

The owner said he put down the tank a few weeks ago so that could be a possibility.

Hello, I recently bought some equipment from another aquarist. While looking through them, I found these white spots on the filter and on the tank. Can someone tell me what these are and if they are safe?

In a few weeks I'll be moving and I figured the best option for my fish would be to re-home them. I am driving from Clayton Mo. to Boston and it will be a 2-3 day ride. I love my fish very much and considered bringing them with me but I didn't want to risk any of them dying. Besides I wouldn't have anywhere to put them assuming they survive the journey. So I decided the best option was to re-home them to someone who has fish keeping experience and would care for them well. Before I give more details, am I allowed to do this on this forum? Are there any other active forums that would be better for this purpose?

found something on another forum. someone said it is pretty common and is just a "seen secretion of fat / protein (strangely mostly in C.aeneus). It will go on its own. Maybe a slight change of diet." @CorydorasEthan so maybe you are partly right with the diet thing. I did just include the bug bites a few weeks ago. This is only if it is from the back of the dorsal fin though, if it appears any where else this may not be true.

I don't have stress coat but this happened to me before with 2 other cories and they healed pretty quickly. This is the third time and I still don't know what exactly this is. Ik the cory will heal but I need to know what this is so i can prevent it.

I got a couple of ghost shrimp from petsmart recently and there is one that doesn't look like the rest. It's been doing fine with the rest. I just wanna if it is a ghost shrimp or not. Thx!

Mine sometimes leaks too so I put some cling wrap over it. Or you could put it in a ziplock bag. I don't know where in the fridge you put your flourish but don't put it in the door compartment(the constant opening and closing caused mine to leak). Hope this helps!
