Last night I noticed this white spot. Is it a fungus infection? Would this treat what it is? My ammonia and nitrite are 0, nitrates are 10, ph 7.6, temp 78.6.

Here is a video a took the other day. He didn’t do it to the side, but the one on the right does twitch upward right at the beginning of the video.

He did it only once tonight while I was feeding him, so I didn’t catch it on video.

I’ll try to get a video when I’m home. It’ll twitch to the side and back right side up.

I got 6 corys on Sunday. They’re all great, eating, parameters good. However, one of them flashes. Should I be concerned? If so, what should I do?

Okay, thanks. I’m thinking of moving some of the gravel and creating a sand bed in the middle. The substrate is mostly rounded. There are a few with edges, but it’s coated with what ever comes on pet store gravel substrate.

I have a 29 gallon tank with smooth gravel substrate and one clown pleco. Will it and corys, if I get them, be fine on it, or do I need sand?

My tap water has ammonia in it around 2. In doing water changes will the bacteria in the established tank take care of that, should I treat the new water first, or other advise?

That sounds good. Clown plecos get 3.5 inches, they’re the smaller of the plecos. I was planning on getting filtration for 60 g.

I’m trying to figure out what would work in a 29 gallon tank. I haven’t got it yet, so just throwing out my initial thought to see if it’s too much. It likely is, but I’d like to go in this direction making whatever adjustments would make for a healthy tank. 6 tiger barbs 6 cherry barbs 6 zebra danios 6 corydoras 1 clown pleco
