  1. So I started cycling my 29 gallon about 2 months ago the plants came in about 4 days before Christmas. Now they have exploded, I haven’t dosed in about 2 weeks and I do water changes every other week. There is also no Co2 running. The 1st picture was taken 2 weeks ago and the 2nd was taken today. So you guys know how the Hornwort went crazy very quickly. Also could you guys rate my tank and tell me what I could do to make it look cooler.
    Inhabitants:

    3 golden Panchax Killifish

    5 black skirt tetras

    1 white skirt tetra

    4 Corydoras

    1 SAE

I know my tank is a bit overstocked but I also have 2 sponge filters for a 30 gallon.

Also if you guys had any advise on breeding Golden Panchax Killifish it would be highly appreciated. Thanks

  2. So I have a female guppy with fin fungis and I treated it with jungle Fungis Cure. It didn’t work is there any other medicine that I could give her. She also has a fin that is all black that I have noticed just came a few days ago I am going to a water change today.

I also have a pregnant guppy would a breeder box help her? My 5.5 gallon baby tank has 18 babies would it hurt to put the babies in the breeder box? I also have a lot of artificial floating plants to help with the babies.

    Thanks

  3. My golden panchax killifish devour them, pretty much any fish that has a big enough mouth to eat them will. Also that one will turn into about 100 in a few months. Some people absolutely hate them and some love them, I love them they do a good job of cleaning algae and eating fish poop, but they do poop a lot themselves. Hope this helps!

  4. Well others on here have helped me with this and they said algae is good for breeding fish, it also serves as food for the fry when they hatch. If you don’t want the algae then I would get a algae scraper and just scrape it off. The others will have to help you on the rest.

  5. I have a really cool substrate that I got from amazon it’s like 20 dollars for 20 Ibs if you ever want to check it out. I think your Corys will be fine as long as it’s not sharp and it’s really fine gravel.

Did you put anything in the tank from another aquarium recently? Those look like white cloud fry. Do you have other tanks and fish?

I agree those do look like white clouds do you have? They also kinda look like pencilfish but I heard those are hard to breed but you can always accidentally breed fish.

  7. I would say guppies for the breeding project but I agree with @WhitecloudDynasty guppies are not very hardy in my opinion even though I absolute love them. They would be a lot better than white clouds for a project. What size tank are you doing? If you are doing a 30 or maybe a 20 I think mollies would be nice. They are like guppies they breed like rabbits. Hope your project goes well.
