[Breeding Golden panchax killifish]

They are in a community 29 as you guys probably already know from one of my other threads, I check for eggs normally every day or every other day. My tank is a bit overstocked but I have 2 sponge filters and I do a lot of water changes. Do you guys think that they are not laying eggs yet because they are in a community tank? Their other tank mates are,

1 SAE 

3 Corydoras about to get another one

[Breeding Golden panchax killifish]

So I am breeding killifish in my 29 gallon tank with a spawning mop. I have already got breeding activity from the male and one of the females. So when they lay their eggs and I find them and put them in a guppy grow out tank in a breeder net with a bunch of java moss, is it ok that the eggs go in a tank that is like 5 degrees colder than in the tank they were layed in? Also if any of you guys have any experience breeding Golden panchax killifish I would be very happy to know some thing about them.

Water changes always help. What are your parameters sometimes when you have high ammonia your tank gets cloudy.

Females have hardly any color and in my experience they are very hard to find I don’t know why.

So I made a spawning mop for my Golden panchax killifish breeding. I attached a styrofoam ball to it I just wanted to make sure that it is fine.

So at summer time me and my family plan on going on a trip to North Carolina and we want to try to catch fish in the inlets and waterways. I was planning on setting back some money to try to get a big tank for freshwater wild caught sailfin mollies or something of that sort. Do you guys know what I should do and how to transport them to where I live. I was thinking about on getting a big bucket with a aquarium co-op sponge filter and air pump. How would I do that in a rent a car though without spilling water everywhere? Do you guys also know if there is any other types of cool fish I could fin in North Carolina?

So I got another Cory for my 29 gallon and I was wondering if it had ick it’s white spots are so small though. Also what type of Cory is it they had no tag.

To me it looks like a type of algae. It can also be a old pest snail egg sack but I highly doubt that.

Do you have high lighting and co2 if you do I would suggest Monte Carlo or Anubias would be good but is not as good for hiding fry, I also like micro swords they do good and they don’t need much light and it doesn’t need co2. Here is a picture of mine that is doing pretty good.

So my male killifish has something wrong with his lip and one of his scales, and for some reason the super fat female is chasing the male and the other female why is she doing that? He also has something on his lip.

 Also that looks too big to be a 10 gallon. By the way I love your spongebob themed tank.  If you don’t think the Java fern is doing good I would get some driftwood and put it on there normally Java fern likes to be attached to driftwood.
