  1. Yes, I heard planaria will kill shrimp so I would try gravel vaccume. Yes, any type of livebearer should get the job done if you have any livebearer fry I would do the job. They are very annoying though i know I had them in my 10 gallon tank and then for some reason they magically dissapeared 😂

  2. So guys I have a hair grass alage problem in my newly set up 29 gallon so I need a BN pleco. My dad bought me some plants and I got 2 banana plants will the BN pleco eat them. Also I got 3 bunches of hornwort, 3 cups of Java moss and 2 Micro sword plants will he eat those too. I wanted to try  to breed some kribs do you guys think the pleco will eat the eggs too because I don't want it to eat the eggs but I need it to clean the hair grass algae. I also wanted to put some guppies in there too.

Here is what I think is good for stocking

    1 Albino BN plecos

3 Fancy guppies and I wanted them too have babies and not have to have to sell them/ take them out.

A pair of Kribs to try to breed

Thanks, also tell me if I am overstocked

Regarding the shrimp, copper problem or not, I would recommend waiting several months of having fish before even thinking about adding them -- much better success comes with a seasoned tank.

Otocinclus in a 10 is not a problem, just not a big army of them -- problem is, they'll tear through the algae in a 10 gallon quicker than you think, and then you have the extra challenge of either making sure you're growing algae fast enough to feed them, or you're supplementing with algae-based food that they'll eat. They can be finicky eaters, so it's rarely as simple as dropping an algae wafer in the tank. Your best bet might be snails. The algae problem tends to improve as your live plants establish.

Also, pygmy corydoras are great for a 10g.

I like Pygmy cories but in my opinion I think they aren’t as hardy as maybe the bronze Cory catfish or Sterbai cories but I think those two will get too large for a 10 gallon. I agree with Fuzzy Mushroom I would do some Otocinclus I would love to see your tank once it is done hope you get you tank stocking decided.

  4. So I am about to move the parents to the 10 gallon tank, how much do you guys think I should feed my baby fry and should I do it 2 times a day I go to school so I might have to do it in the morning. I have 5 survivors and I have dried blood worms and flake food which should I feed

  5. So one of my female guppies just had fry!!! I wanted to leave them in the tank but I don’t know if they will survive, I have a breeder net but it is pretty big for a 5.5 gallon tank. Also when should I transfer my guppies to my empty 10 gallon. Also for some reason one looks like it has been bitten but it doesent look like fin rot.
    Thanks,

  6. Yep it is differently a fungal infection. I would get some API fungis cure that always helps or you could try Epson salt which I have never used except for when one of my fish had Popeye. You will have to have another person answer for me on that one
