Your aquarium looks amazing!!

I got the brine shrimp hatchery set up in the fish tent for the first time last night, so hopefully I’ll be able to feed live bbs tonight or in the morning!
also, I need a better name for this than a “fish tent” so any ideas would be appreciated lol- 1

You beat me to it lol I was just going to add that I already have a female betta in my community tank.
Oh okay, that probably wouldn't work then. Maybe either switch the bettas to see if the other one will get along with the dwarf crayfish better, or try putting the crayfish in the 20 and just keep a close eye on it.

Is putting the female betta in the the 20 gallon aquarium an option? What other fish do you have in there?

@Colu is probably going to be able to help you the best

I think it would probably be okay, but obviously it would be optimal to have someone feed the aquariumm though. If that's not an option I think what you have suggested would be the best alternative.

Do you know what water perameteres you have?
-
You could go with as few as 6 or up to 20 or so. It just depends on how much work you want to do. I would go with 8-12 personally.

Hopefully that does the trick lol

Nerite snails would be my recommendation.

Nice 👍! First fish??
I'm not exactly sure. I know I had a few goldfish and some tiger barbs are the first couple fish I remember owning.

What a cool fish tent! You've really made it special. It's amazing what you can do with a small space. How did you become interested in the hobby? Have you always had an aquarium?
Thank you! I hope that limiting the space I have to work with will help me optimize each aquarium and how much I enjoy it. I have always thought it is super cool how fish can live and breathe underwater, so I have had aquariums from a young age. My first one was a 2.5 then I got a three gallon, then a 10, a 55, and bam multi tank syndrome!

That makes sense, too; but maybe only after the de-icer arrives. I'd be scared to now because the layer of ice everywhere but the airline zone is pretty thick and there needs to be an area for gas exchange. It's a 110g tub and has only 1 goldfish and 4 white cloud minnows in it, so I am guessing it would take some time for them to run out of oxygen but I don't want to take any chances.
That’s what I would suggest. You’ll be able to have open water for gas exchange and also keep the fish warmer. I doubt you would have problems with oxygen with only a few fish in there.

From what I’ve heard they should do just fine in the cold. I have heard that if you want to keep them a bit warmer you can actually turn the air pump off, so the layers of water don’t mix and it can stay warm at the bottom.

Do your parents ever enter the fish room or do they steer clear like mine??
They actually are usually pretty interested with what’s going on in there, especially when I have new fish or breed something.

1- Guppies! Colorful, easy to breed, low maintenance.
2-cryptocoryne wendtii. Low light and easy to keep!
3-225 full of H2O
4-Solid color? Probably red
5-So I have bristlenose plecos and kuli loaches, so they are kinda tied for first. My tip for both is to put a cave in the aquarium and wait until they go in it. All you have to do then is pick it up with the fish inside!
6-I have no clue. And I was probably 7 or 8
7-Ramshorn snails--easy
8-Cherry shrimp or guppy fry
9-Tons of small fish for sure! I love seeing huge schools of fish!
10-Hmmm, I haven't really thought of this one.
11-Angelfish. I would love to breed them at some point!
12-I just bought 9 angelfish, 11 platies, 3 guppies, and a bristlenise pleco for a few different aquariums and they are all doing amazing so far!
13-I'm having some trouble with algae in one of my aquariums.
14-I don't make tacos, but I love to eat them!!
15-Probably just a simple flake food
16-I wish I would have slowed down a bit and not tried to get so many aquariums so quickly and enjoyed each one more.
17-Cutting test strips in half! 2 for the price of one
18-Probably salt for meds at least
19-Breeding in my opinion. It's so cool to me to see new life in my aquarium.
20-They buy fish from local breeders like @Fish Folk

So tonight I found some “lucky” bamboo and a venus flytrap and decided to get them for the fish tent. I will be interested to see how the flytrap does, but the bamboo should do well in the lower light levels.
