Welcome! I'm sorry to hear about your losses. And yep, would love to see some pictures!

The first thing that came to my mind was shrimp, maybe you can add a new species to your interests!

I just caught up for the second time. Congrats on all the fry and your success in raising them! I have always thought it would be fun to buy a group of corydoras and breed up a herd of them, and this just makes me want to do it more! I also appreciate that you share the lows of your journey as well!

Those pieces look super cool! I too will be interested to see how they turn out after treatment. Thanks for sharing how you clean/ prepare them for your aquariums!

Thanks for the detailed information! I am looking to breed some angels, so this will hopefully help out!

I recently purchased a group of 5 angels and I’m absolutely loving them! Yours look great! Do you know if you have a pair or anything?

Wow! Thanks for serving, helping out with that fire. Very commendable.
Ben told me he wants to see if you can come out with us next time we head over.
Thank you! And that would be great! I would definitely enjoy that!

I was planning on coming to this meeting, but I ended up being up all night fighting a structure fire with the local fire department, so I decided it might not be smart to drive 3.5 hrs each way on no sleep, but I’m glad to hear it went well and I hope to make it to the next one!

So I know that I haven't updated this thread in over a month, so my apologies. I dislocated my elbow playing basketball and have been trying to recover from that. I was given a 5 lb lifting restriction for a few weeks and have limited mobility with that arm which as you can imagine makes working on my aquariums rather difficult. I am healing up quickly and have been able to do a lot more in the mini fish room. I am working on finding some nice corydoras to add to the 75 and maybe a nice group of tetras. Anyway, I just thought I'd give an update on the mini fish room and I hope to be posting a lot more here again.

Have you been trying to breed anything interesting? 😁
The plan is to eventually breed the angels, but other than that I’m just breeding guppies, snails, and shrimp.

Thanks for the tips!

Any updates?
Oh yes, the last couple weeks have been pretty busy, but everything has been going well for the most part. All of the new fish have been thriving and the plants have been recovering nicely from their move. The Venus flytrap has been struggling, so I will probably have to move it out of the fish room to a window that can provide it with more light. Otherwise there hasn’t been anything noteworthy happening.

I have a journal about this setup if you are really interested, but pretty much I set up a 4x8 foot insulated grow tent that I keep a few aquariums in. It is in my basement, so it stays about 60 or so outside the tent. With a dehumidifier running some of the time and the aquarium equipment it stays at about 78f
