  1. Was the 1liter prior to the formula change? They changed the concentration (more).
  2. I really like the idea of a time lapse showing "recovery" of a crypt or maybe of a deficiency. I love to see more detail on prorogating or how how plants reproduce as well. The general start to finish of a few tanks with a variety of lighting (Finnex, Fluval, other), different water conditions, substrates all having the same plants, but how the outcomes can look so different (still good, just different). I think it would go a long way to demonstrate, just because "John" in Texas can grow pogo doesn't mean "Sally" in New York will have the same outcomes. It would help some new budding aquatic plant keepers confidence.
  3. Welcome to the group! It's great to have you here. Cichlids seem complicated and kind of challenging to me🤔 maybe I am just intimidated? @Hally M. that tanks not "a mess" it's alive!
  4. Wordle guessed in 4/6! Can you do better? Try this wordle: https://mywordle.strivemath.com/?word=scipd ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ ⬜🟩⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 #mywordle These are fun, TY
  5. I am thinking of using Cholla wood for hard scape (less expensive), plants and tetras for this tank. What are your favorite tetras? Thinking Emperor tetras, Red Minor, ?? I would love your thoughts. I want to easily be able to see my fish. And prefer 1-2 species or a large school of a single species. Shrimp safe! So many choices...... Ugh 😅
  6. Pogo, like most plants can utilize both roots and water col for nutrients. What is your substate? Maybe it was benefiting from some root nutrients that are now depleted? Or if you have changed fish foods, perhaps there was something that the plant was gaining and isn't anymore.... phosphate, etc.? Hoping for the best for you.
  7. I love that you are invested into this tank! Such a great opportunity to teach about the benefits of plants in the environment. I agree with everyone else Anubias, Java Fern would be rewarding!
  8. Good Morning, Fellow Fish friends. I look forward to learning from a group of friendly fish keepers. I am a Veterinary Technician Specialists in Small Animal Internal Medicine. I have always tinkered with keeping fish. I got out to the hobby due to my busy career, I missed keeping fish and the pride/challenges it brings. It is a lovely distraction from life. I have a 5 g betta, 20g long, and a new 29gallon (not yet set-up). I am thinking of converting my 20g to a brackish tank. Hmmmm.......😁
