Bingo - welcome to the wonderful world of invertebrate 'bedazzlers'. The only habit of theirs that I'm not overly thrilled about since the eggs aren't viable in freshwater and never hatch but seem to last forever. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They will lay a bunch of them, but none will hatch unless they are in Brackish water.
