SarahO
Last week I got a new Anubis plant for my betta tank. I did a soak in a hydrogen peroxide solution, and have since been having it sit in fresh water. Should it be safe to add into my betta tank? I’m really concerned about possible disease transmission, as it was in a different fish tank before I purchased it.
Administrators Cory Posted December 23, 2020 Administrators Share Posted December 23, 2020 No one could answer with 100% certainty. In 15 years of fishkeeping. I've never quarantined a plant, and I've never seen a plant bring disease to a tank. That being said, I've never willingly took a plant form a tank with say Ich and put it into another tank with fish.

Administrators Cory Posted December 23, 2020 Administrators Share Posted December 23, 2020 I don't consider worms a disease. If anything they're fish food. Or better yet, creatures to help keep your plants healthy. It would be like trying to keep a garden worm free.
Taco Playz
Ok my fish sure do like them and they are probably good fish food instead of always flake food and freeze dried blood worms.
