Water Conditioner

What is your preferred water conditioner and why?

Fritz Complete. Because it’s cheaper than Prime.

I’ve been using Prime lately because I got a bottle at a good price. Also have used API QuickStart and Stresscoat a fair amount.

Fritz complete because ACO sells it with a pump head. It's also cheaper than prime for basically the same product. I also prefer highly concentrated conditioners like fritz complete to things like api stress coat, because dosing is quicker and you don't have to restock it as often.

Seachem. Because it's cheapest for the volume. (More concentrated)

Especially safe.

Prime. Never faced any issues water conditioning related so why bother to change when something is already working well

I use Fritz complete.  It is what the Co op sells…. If I can get a product need filled by a co op offering that is generally my preference.  Rapid shipping at a competitive price and excellent customer service if anything goes wrong…. 
 

if the Co op only offered Prime, I would buy Prime….

For my area, Seachem Prime and Fritz Complete run about the same price for a 8 ounce bottle. I predominantly use Prime because it’s available at my local BBPS, but if I am putting in an ACO order and happen to be running low on water conditioner, then I’ll order Complete from the ACO website.

I’m not loyal, what can I say. 😁

I have been using API aqua essential for the past 2 years. I stocked up when it went on sale 

I have a large bottle of Seachem Prime but the Seachem prime has little floating things in it and I can see that stuff for about 10 minutes in the tank. So I find myself reaching for the API aqua essential over the seachem prime.
