Its Hutch
When my hands are in their tank the mollies come right up to me and dont seem bothered at all. I decided to just set my hand in the tank and see if they would come close. They literally just swim right onto my palm. Why? You think they just generally arent afraid? Maybe even recognize me? I assume looking for food but I find it enjoyable. I decided to take a video today. Apologies in advance for the orientation, I am not an expert on youtube or editing picture/videos.
ange
Mollies and platys are the aquatic equivalent of guinea pigs and fear nothing. I haven't had my GBRs swim into my hand but they'll eat frozen food from my hand. I tend to hold the cube into the water and let them take from it before I put the rest into my hex. 1
Its Hutch
My Electric Blue Acara will also eat out of my hand. They remind me more of puppies. I think you got it right with the aquatic equivalent of guinea pigs tho lol.
xXInkedPhoenixX
My Guppies and Endlers do this too, they just fearlessly follow my hand around when I'm in there, always want to play in the new water streams doing changes, and come to inspect the turkey baster when I'm spot cleaning.
