Posts being deleted without explanation?

So I had mentioned to a friend something about a post here and was told I was crazy and there was no such post.

When I came back to the forum to just get a direct link, I couldn't find it either. Seems multiple posts were removed, the conversation no longer made sense as you could tell stuff was removed. 

Anyone else had this happen? Do mods just delete/alter content without notice or explanation?

Looking thru the Mod section I see that we have 6 total hidden posts and 0 deleted content for the whole site. It appears to be tracking for the entire history of the forum as well.

It's cool, I used my web history and figured it out. Content is removed and nothing denotes it or explains why.

Users can delete their own posts I believe now, many people were requesting such as they posted in the wrong forum.

My first and only post, so far, was deleted. I just realized it was because I posted where I got the fish that are really sick from. I've messaged the mod who had replied to my post asking if I could repost the topic without the company name.
