The second you have a flash and you see the flash in the eye which makes them red. Two question is the fish white (without the tannis) are the eyes red or black ? anewbie Posted November 26, 2021 Share Posted November 26, 2021 (edited) quick google search finds this fish: Synodontis nigrita yellow. - Hum it gets to about 7 inches; while the updside down cat are around 4. Biotope Biologist Posted November 26, 2021 Share Posted November 26, 2021 Leucistic phenotypes are often favored by breeders and in alot of aquarium species is how you get the golds and whites. Leucistic versus albino means partial pigmentation loss versus full pigment loss. Ie an albino can only exist with pink or red eyes as they cannot develop pigment period. Melanistic is the presence of only dark pigmentation and presents commonly in cats.
