Phone in pocket at lake

So I was swimming in a lake today and I had forgot I had my phone in my pocket... Oops 😬. I have it sitting in a thing of rice right now, I don’t really know if that will help. But does anyone know of any other thing I can do to get it back to working. I have tried a vacuum and a blow drier. Thanks

Place rice bag near mild heat source makes it more absorbent to humidity created.  I’ve done it way too many times

I have heard that rice is overrated. I am in IT, so get on that search!

easy fix, get one that is water proof

I've heard the best thing are those little desiccant packets that you get in a lot of things you buy. You know, the ones that say "DO NOT EAT" all over them. I've personally never tried them, though, but I since their main purpose is to absorb moisture, I can imagine it would work pretty well.
