FriendlyLoach
Hey everyone! I am trying to think of a plant I could grow underwater that will grow fast enough to not just be covered by algae and mulm. I was thinking creeping jenny, can that grow underwater 100%? The pond is full sun and hard water. Any ideas. Thx!
Eric R
Do you want it to grow out of the pond too? Hornwort comes to mind, as does pennywort.
Brandy
If you add floaters or lily pads it will shade the pond...
FriendlyLoach
@Eric R I already have lots of plants out of water, so I mainly am looking for underwater plants, but it is fine if it comes out.
Patrick_G
Creeping Jenny would probably work. I use Cattail, water lettuce, water hyacinth, duckweed and one or two other potted plants. They all grow emersed. 2
