Good Morning Everyone!

Wondering if you all could give me some ideas on plants that would do well with just the roots submerged in an aquarium/HOB?  There are the two most common ones of peace lilies and pothos, however I've heard those are quite toxic to cats. While neither of my cats have had interest in eating plants, I'd rather not take that chance. Bonus points for low to mid indirect light loving plants.

Sweet potatoes are also toxic to cats.

Try a Hoya (wax plant) they look similar to pothos. Maybe a spider plant? 

I have lucky bamboo in my filter. That LOVES water and does very well.

Spider plant is an option as it's not toxic to cats. I have a monster spider plant (it's in a pot approx 5 gallons) outside I'd give you a million babies if you were my neighbor lol, I've rooted them in water to start for people but I've never kept one in water for extended period of time. Lucky bamboo though, is toxic to cats.

I am currently growing Basil and Mint in the sump of my AIO tank. Have had no issues with the fish at all.
